This week’s Fun Fact Friday is about me, Kristin! One thing I love to watch is reality television. I have recently found a show that I am obsessed with and have already watched the whole first season on Netflix (in three days..). It is called “An Idiot Abroad” and the show is just that…which is what makes it hysterical.
“An Idiot Abroad is a British travel documentary television series broadcast on Sky1 and Science, as well as spin-off books published by Canongate Books, created by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant and starring Karl Pilkington The ongoing theme of both the television series and the books is that Pilkington has no interest in global travel, so Merchant and Gervais make him travel while they stay in the United Kingdom and monitor his progress.”
If you know Ricky Gervais then you know he is quite the jokester so the situations that he and Stephen have Karl do are embarrassing and totally hilarious. If you are looking for a fun new series to start watching, try An Idiot Abroad (I should be their new spokeswoman). Here is a little video clip about the show.
