Howdy y’all! This week’s Fun Fact Friday is all about me, Kristin! I thought I would share a brief (very brief) backstory of my life and how I came to live in Tampa. My roots all started in a small Texas town called Marshall, I am the second born in my family (I have sister 3 years older named Kelly) and we are both pale and full of freckles! A couple years after I was born my parents got a divorce and 6 years later my mom, sister and I were off to make a fresh start in a new town, Jasper, IN, with our country accents and cowgirl boots (okay, maybe not the boots) but our new home was also pretty boondock (aka. the boonies). I spent my childhood growing up in that small country town and it will always feel like home to me. After I graduated high school my mom and sister had planned on moving to Tampa to be closer to family, but I was already enrolled to attend Indiana University in the fall. As time passed and their move came closer I realized that I didn’t want to be in a state without family near, so I packed my bags and we all headed down South! Five years later I have never been happier with my decision to move here. Tampa has been a great place to live and attend school and I am so glad to have amazing friends and family, a great workplace (ADP!), and a quaint and cozy new apartment in St. Petersburg. Life is good! 🙂
