Happy Friday! This week’s Fun Fact Friday is all about Andi; one thing she loves…driving stick shift (and she is a firm believer that every woman should know how to drive stick…if you don’t, call her and she will teach you.) Andi first learned to drive in a 1985 Pontiac Sunbird that was burnt sienna colored. It was stick shift so she had not choice, she was going to learn! I picture her looking like “Andie” from the movie Pretty in Pink (large hair-sprayed bangs, shoulder pads, acid washed jeans, a hot jock boyfriend named Blane) I am instantly jealous of the style of the 80’s, then I do the math and realize she was learning in the 90’s so now it’s Kelly Kapowski from Saved by the Bell. I have steered off topic. Even though there was no air in that car, and the headliner was so low it hit the top of her head, she didn’t care because driving that car was “freedom” to her. I’m sure she looked cool too, jamming out to Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch’s, “Good Vibrations,” and speeding away into the sunset.
