This week’s Fun Fact Friday is all about ME, Kristin! One thing I am good at (or like to think I am good at) is grammar and spelling. In high school I was actually on the Spell Bowl team, and being the detail oriented and fashionable person I am, I even designed the team t-shirt (“We’ll put a spell on you,” in creepy font and a cauldron filled with long words like, “superstitious,”) I am obviously very cool. What else? I am that person who will correct your bad grammar via text/email/Facebook/in person, whatever the case! Luckily, I really like to write so my grammar/spelling OCD really does come in handy. Some of my cringe-worthy grammar and spelling mistakes people make: your vs. you’re, DEFINITELY vs. all the other ways people spell it, affect vs. effect, then vs. than, into vs. in to, over exaggeration of the word, “literally,” I could go on….
Watch, I probably made a mistake while writing that. Wouldn’t that just be awesome?
