Tampa Childrens Photographer on a Picnic!

January 12, 2013

One of the many things that I love about my Bebe Couture Plan is the opportunity I get to truly get to know the families I photograph.  It usually starts with a maternity session, then the newborn session, then a 6 month (or sitting up) session, and of course, the big 1 year birthday session.  I first met the M. Family at their maternity session and was very quickly able to develop a relationship with them, which I truly love!  Almost immediately after their newborn session at our South Tampa studio, Courtney started planning for Gavin’s 6 month portrait session….’cause that is how she rolls!  “Where do we do it?  What do we wear?  What should I bring?”; she is always bursting with excitement and anticipation.  So for this little chunky monkey’s 6 month session, we decided to go out on location on a family picnic.  Here are just a few of my FAVES!! Big brother, Eion, could not be any sweeter with his baby brother…it melts my heart!  Funny story about this session (well, ok not really very funny at all).  The sun, the clouds, the family- everything is going perfect!  I hear my assistant, Kristin, make a shocked sound and as I look over a cat is….ummm..marking my camera bag as its territory!  Are you kidding me?!  We are out in the middle of no where and this cat finds us- and my camera bag and well….this is why I am a dog person!  YUCK!  I had to share that story because if you know me, you know that this is my luck!  Fortunately, the rest of the session was beautiful!  Can’t wait for the 1 year session.  Made any plans for it yet, Courtney?  🙂

Tampa Family Portraits – Meet the J Family

June 30, 2010

Seriously….the J. family is always so polished and put together.  It actually is not fair, and I guess I am a bit jealous- there I said it.  Stomp, stomp.   It probably has something to do with the fact that Jodi is the owner of  Premier Concierge, a lifestyle management, planning and concierge service that provides work life balance assistance to clients in Tampa Bay and New York City.  So yeah, she is always on top of her game, and Steven and the kids always appear to be, too.  Oh, how I wish for such polish.  🙂  Even in the blazing heat of Tampa’s summer, they don’t even appear to break a sweat.  How is that possible?  Check out their South Tampa photography session by Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club:

I hope this makes you smile, Jodi and Steven.  I have enjoyed capturing the kids as they grow- I am trying to pause time as much as I can!! xo

Tarpon Springs Family Photography of The Beautiful L. Family

November 30, 2009

I love watching siblings interact- especially at a portrait session. Clearly every family member has his/her own personality and I love the task of trying to capture it while we all interact together. This portrait session was especially fun for me because I got to go to Tarpon Springs to the sponge docks. What an awesome backdrop! So scenic and unique (albeit a tad smelly…gotta love those fish heads! Ha!). This was definitely a change of pace from my usual Tampa photography locations and I loved every minute of it! Fraser, Noah, Sophia, and Caleb each have a story to tell; each in their own way. tarpon-springs-childrens-and-family-photography tarpon-springs-childrens-and-family-photography-2 tarpon-springs-childrens-and-family-photography-3 Fraser has big plans for college and his sights are set on Alabama. Glad you are keeping it in the SEC Fraser…but the Gators are going to smash Alabama on Saturday!  🙂  You were such a trouper at our session! Thank you! Noah, I love how easy-going you are! I guess being 1 of 3 brothers, you have to learn to roll with the punches (but I am sure there are never any punches thrown in this family!).  Sophia, the only girl amongst 3 brothers!  I have a feeling every future boyfriend better watch out! And this beauty will have them beating down her door!  Caleb, you are too sweet.  I love how you let your personality shine (and for the record- I LOVED the hat!) tarpon-springs-childrens-and-family-photography-6 tarpon-springs-childrens-and-family-photography-51 Loved photographing you, L. Family- and especially loved photographing in Tarpon Springs.  So fun! Thanks for the invite!

Tampa Children Photographer Warns “Lock up Your Sons!”

November 24, 2009

It seems like I have been photographing alot of precious little boys recently, so it was fitting that my first little girl in a while be as beautiful as Ava.  Boy, is her daddy going to be in trouble come the teen-age years!  I have been photographing Ava since she was in her mommy’s tummy and it is so amazing to me to see how she is growing like such a weed!  Just like Paige (see below), Peggy and I were sorority sisters together in ZTA at the University of Florida.  Oh, how times have changed.  We have all traded in our lavalieres for diamonds and designer jeans- it sure is fun to upgrade.  Ha! Enjoy your images, Peggy and Tim- and GO GATORS! tampa-childrens-photographer-9 tampa-family-photography-7 tampa-family-photography-7a tampa-childrens-photogrpher-11

Tampa Family Photos of Future Heartbreakers!

November 23, 2009

Have I mentioned how little boys melt my heart?  (see previous diary entry!)  Well, Cannon and Owen take the cake! (and despite being a devoted Nikon shooter, I think the name Cannon rocks!  ha!)  We headed to historic Ybor City for our portrait session to capture some funky and modern images.  Owen and Cannon’s Mommy, Paige, and I, went to the University of Florida together and were Zeta Tau Alpha‘s in the same pledge class.  She now has these 2 beautiful little boys, and married her college sweetheart! tampa-childrens-photogrpher-1 tampa-childrens-photogrpher-3 tampa-childrens-photogrpher-2 tampa-childrens-photogrpher-5 We wrapped our session at one of my favorite places- Marble Slab! (after all….how can ice cream get any better?  Oh yeah- mix in some more sweets!)  After a small mishap with some ice-cream ending up on the floor, the boys gobbled down their treats and off they went to baseball! tampa-childrens-photogrpher-4 Paige, so great getting to capture these images of your boys.  Looking forward to that ZTA night out!
