One of the many things that I love about my Bebe Couture Plan is the opportunity I get to truly get to know the families I photograph. It usually starts with a maternity session, then the newborn session, then a 6 month (or sitting up) session, and of course, the big 1 year birthday session. I first met the M. Family at their maternity session and was very quickly able to develop a relationship with them, which I truly love! Almost immediately after their newborn session at our South Tampa studio, Courtney started planning for Gavin’s 6 month portrait session….’cause that is how she rolls! “Where do we do it? What do we wear? What should I bring?”; she is always bursting with excitement and anticipation. So for this little chunky monkey’s 6 month session, we decided to go out on location on a family picnic. Here are just a few of my FAVES!!
Big brother, Eion, could not be any sweeter with his baby brother…it melts my heart! Funny story about this session (well, ok not really very funny at all). The sun, the clouds, the family- everything is going perfect! I hear my assistant, Kristin, make a shocked sound and as I look over a cat is….ummm..marking my camera bag as its territory! Are you kidding me?! We are out in the middle of no where and this cat finds us- and my camera bag and well….this is why I am a dog person! YUCK! I had to share that story because if you know me, you know that this is my luck! Fortunately, the rest of the session was beautiful! Can’t wait for the 1 year session. Made any plans for it yet, Courtney? 🙂
Tampa Family Portraits With the B Family
Ever since Alicia and Patrick had newborn portraits done last year with their adorable baby girl Elizabeth, we planned to meet up a year later at their new home in Odessa, FL for her first birthday. Let me just say, it could not have turned out better. These are some of the cutest kids I’ve ever met! Elizabeth looked like a princess in her red floral dress and her older brothers Connor and Alexander were so dapper in their suits and ties. They had a blast playing with each other in their huge backyard that day, I’m so glad Mother Nature held out for us after our rained out appointment the week before!
Children’s Portraiture at Palma Ceia, Tampa
I recently had the pleasure of photographing the K. family at Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club in South Tampa. After we escaped the unplanned sprinklers, we were able to capture some beautiful images of the family and kids.
All of these images will be hanging on the K Family’s wall as a gallery wrapped canvas cluster!
It was a perfect day for family portraits…..the sun and light were divine! Beautiful kids, too! A photographer’s dream!
This is the family canvas that will be part of this gallery collection. I know Janet worked hard on wardrobe- and did a great job! I love color and expression in family shoots.
Thanks for trusting Andi Diamond Photography to create your family’s artwork. I really enjoyed it- your family is fab!

Tampa/St. Petersburg Beach Family Photography with the L.’s
Ok, so I want to share a little secret. Beach family portraits are not always my fave (there, I said it!) I guess because I always think of a family sitting in their khakis and white polos and it all seems very clique and traditional to me- not my style of photography at all! This is one reason why I love having portrait consultations before our portrait sessions. Not only do we go over style but we chat about wardrobe, color, and pulling it all together. The L. family did just that! They pulled it all together and we had the most amazing beach portrait session in St. Petersburg. The colors, the light, the energy- there was such a “click” with this family portrait session that it just made me smile. It helps that Heather is super organized and she knew how to make it all work. She is the owner of Your Home Editor, so this really came as second nature to her. Check out some of my favorites from their beach family portrait session:
So if you are thinking of a family portrait session on the beach and are open to non-traditional styles, Andi Diamond Photography can help you create some colorful artwork that you will love to hang on your wall and enjoy for years to come. Give us a shout! L Family- way to rock it out!
On a side note, we are completely booked November. We do have some openings for portrait sessions in December (especially for newborn photography), provided you are not pressed to get your custom artwork for the holidays. 🙂
