It was a lovely Florida day for Anita and Michael’s St. Petersburg wedding at The Hotel Zamora; we have to say, they might be one of the sweetest couples we have ever met. Anita and Michael are a match made in internet heaven, falling in love on the popular dating site Match.com. They are both from Atlanta, but decided a beautiful destination beach wedding in St. Pete was the perfect place for their nuptials! Between the two, they speak a total of 3 languages (English, French, and Polish!) and we just swooned listening to them talk to each other on the big day. “Mon cherie!” “Mon cherie!”
Their small and intimate ceremony on the outside deck of the hotel was the perfect setting, with a view of the water and Zamora’s beautiful facade. Guests enjoyed champagne on the rooftop with the couple before we had to steal them away to catch a gorgeous sunset on the beach. The whole day Michael was in awe of his new bride, telling us that evening, “I would marry her ten times over.” The connection and love they have for each other is very magical! It truly was a special day for the two of them, and we are so honored we were able to witness and capture such a special moment in their life.
A special thanks to all of the wonderful wedding vendors who helped make Anita and Michael’s day so special!

I had such a great evening with Yen and Mike at their Tampa maternity session. Yen has been my colorist at Level Salon and Spa for years now! I am so excited for their new bundle of joy, I can’t wait to meet him!
It was such a lovely day for a Tampa waterfront wedding at the Davis Islands Garden Club for Heather and Joe. These two lovebirds are in the military and caught each other’s eye on base at MacDill. Heather LOVES to bake so she used to bring in sweets for everyone to enjoy; when it was time for Heather and Joe’s first date, the two thought it would be a good idea to try and make something that Heather hadn’t mastered..lemon meringue pie. How hard could it be? As they would soon find out, a bit harder than expected! But it lead to love, so that’s the way the cookie crumbles, right? 🙂
The beautiful Florida sunshine was incredibly gorgeous for Heather and Joe on wedding day!
Look at Joe’s face when he first saw Heather walking down the aisle! Priceless!
I was so appreciative that our couple was willing to brave the heat and capture some images in the sunshine. I have discovered that I really LOVE photographing these types of portraits in full sun. Honestly, it used to scare me, but now I LOVE it. It creates some of the prettiest imagery of a bride and groom.
The couple really put their own “stamp” on the DIGC, with colors and decor representative of their personalities.
We mentioned the couple’s love for baking and the challenge of lemon meringue pie; it would only make sense that they have the most delicious wedding cake- in lemon meringue (and cupcakes, too!). Since their first date of cake baking did not turn out too well, they ended up with blueberry pie that night. Their cake baker incorporated that into their wedding cake as well! (Thanks for “forcing” me to take some home with me, Heather and Joe!)
A special thanks to all of the wonderful and hardworking vendors who helped make this day possible:
