We are so excited to be sharing Alicia and Tony’s Tampa wedding. We had been looking forward to this wedding for months, knowing what an amazing day it would be. This is a love story of “opposites attract” as Alicia would say. It just so happened that Alicia’s best friend and Tony’s best friend were a couple, so the two introduced Tony and Alicia while in college at West Virginia University and the rest is history. With Alicia being “type A” and Tony a very laid-back “type B, ” the two balance each other out. Her weaknesses are his strengths and vice versa; they are truly best friends in every way.
The day started at the lovely Grand Hyatt Hotel, Alicia and her girls were getting glamorous (while cartoons played in the background for Alicia’s son Bryce), and Tony and his groomsmen sipped on beers and relaxed in their room. We had the most stunning light in the hallway by the ballroom to create portraits of the bridal party; the girls’ light pink dresses popped against Alicia’s gorgeous gown. The groomsmen casually sauntered down the hallway and huddled together for a quick sports style “hands in.”
Their closest friends and family gathered for their intimate ceremony. It was so special to watch, especially with Bryce standing next to Tony, who he says is the “best step-dad in the world!” Guests enjoyed drinks and hors d’oeuvres at cocktail hour, while we took our newly-wed bride and groom outside for some private bride-groom portraits. Once the reception started, guests danced the night away and nibbled on gourmet popcorn and sweets. It was such an honored to share this day with Alicia and Tony; they are such a wonderful, genuine couple with an amazing energy. We are so lucky to call them clients and lifelong friends of ours.
We loved Alicia’s gold Manolo Blahnik heels and her blingy “something blue”.
It wouldn’t be a proper groomsmen hangout without some celebratory beers!
Bryce loved seeing his mom dressed up like a princess- he wanted to be in every picture! Future model? We think so!
It’s official! Alicia and Tony are husband and wife!

We loved the arched trees outside of the ballroom, what a gorgeous couple!
Alicia’s bouquet featured her grandmothers pearls, and Tony’s grandmothers’s vintage necklace.
Bryce wasted no time, he was the first one on the dance floor!
Near the end of the night, everyone gathered in a circle to sing Alicia and Tony’s favorite song, John Denver’s “Take me home, country roads.” An ode to their alma mater.
