Kim and Pete arrived in Tampa late Wednesday night for their Thursday engagement session. They left Iowa’s cold and snow for Florida’s sunshine and cool breeze. (Yeah, I am sure they were devastated). “My” Pete and I first met Kim in 2006 at the Outback Bowl, when Florida played Iowa. We remained in touch and then caught up together again in 2006 when our alma maters played each other again in another Outback Bowl in Tampa (and this time- the Gators were victorious!) We invited Kim to chaperone our biannual summer trip for The Circle of Friends in St. Pete Beach, and then again on our winter trip in Wausau, WI. (She is a teacher and has volunteered with children with cancer, so knew she would be a perfect addition to the COF family). She told us about “her” Pete and we could see the love, and the rest has been history. Here is their Tampa engagement session (Pete and Kim’s Iowa friends…insert jealousy HERE).
