Palmetto Riverside Bed and Breakfast Wedding for Robin and Joe

Saying we had a great time with our sweet couple, Robin and Joe, for their Palmetto Riverside Bed and Breakfast wedding would be an understatement. We have been looking forward to their wedding for months now, knowing it would be a wedding we would never forget, and we were right…what a blast! These two sweethearts are genuinely one the kindest, cutest, and silliest couples we have ever met. The love they have for each other is truly apparent when you meet them and they are love-ably infectious in every way possible. Their ceremony was held on the front lawn of the bed and breakfast, where their close friends and family witnessed their nuptials and even surprised the couple by popping rose petal cannons when they said “I do.” We have all heard the saying, “rain on your wedding day is good luck..,” so Robin and Joe received lots of luck on their big day (it also rained on my wedding day.. I swear by the lucky superstition!) but that didn’t impact all of the fun. The beautiful reception was tented (just in case) so guests had no worries dancing the night away and dining on delicious food and drink.  Thank you Robin and Joe for being so unbelievably great and open for anything, we are so honored to be part of your wedding day and we simply adore you.

YES, love the shoes…who cares if they were uncomfortable?! Every single bridesmaid was stunningly gorge! Robin sending some last minute thoughts to Joe, as he sent down these sparkly beauties! Robin and her sister/maid-of-honor, Amanda, are so close.  Their overwhelming emotions has us all in tears. Joe was a big fan of the special watch Robin got for him. The couple chose to do a “First Look” which gave them the opportunity for some special moments alone together.  This also worked to their benefit since it started to pour almost immediately after their ceremony. I loved watching Robin’s dad throughout the wedding day. Joe and all of his dapper groomsmen. The heat did not stop this brat pack. I tired not to drool over Robin’s stunning yellow diamond engagement ring! Headed back up for last minute preparation before the ceremony began… There was no shortage of emotions when Dad saw his baby girl for the first time in her dress. Let the ceremony begin (and Mother Nature…hold off on that rain if you will!) After it poured, the weather broke just long enough for the bride and groom to run out onto the dock for a couple minutes. The First Dance… Father-Daughter dance… The wedding rings Many laughs and tears during toasts.. The rain did not stop this party! Elise’s Pieces did an amazing job on a beautiful and scrumptious wedding cake! Robin brought the toasting glasses that her parents used at their wedding, over 30 years ago! At the end of the night, a bit bummed that we did not have the sunset that we wished for, I asked the Robin and Joe if they would trust me enough to go outside in the rain for a bit.  They did…and this is what we created.  I think I love it more than sunset.  Thanks for trusting me, friends!  🙂 Pre-register to view the entire wedding gallery when it goes live HERE.  Share your love for Robin and Joe by clicking “Add A Comment” below.
