Nadia and Shay’s wedding was a much anticipated event, their beautiful Tampa wedding was the FIRST EVER at Armature Works! This historic building has been in construction for quite a while, so it was great to be in the space and see it come to life. Nadia, her sister, and mom all got ready in her bridal suite at Le Meridien; we captured her details (that wedding dress!) and chatted with the ladies while they ate pizza and relaxed. Upstairs in Shay’s room, the vibe was just the same. Shay watched football and decided which one of this favorite Jordans to wear…he is quite the shoe connoisseur. They opted for a first look, which turned into quite the comical event. We were blessed with some cooler Tampa weather on Sunday, but, it was a tad windy. During the first look Nadia’s veil blew off not once, but twice! We all laughed as Shay said, “only you, Nadia…only you”.
Their lovely rooftop ceremony was witnessed by their closest friends and family. We had a breathtaking view of the Tampa skyline and a violinist played sweet melodies while guests watched Nadia and Shay say “I do” with Shay in his Gucci glasses, of course. We took our newlyweds next door to Ulele for wedding portraits. While Nadia is a model for a living, her inner beauty actually surpasses her outer beauty (if you could even imagine!). Shay also knows how to work his GQ side, especially in his custom James Bond tux!
Their wedding reception was one for the books, not only being the first wedding at Armature Works, but also because it was breathtaking! We had a dream team of “friendors” working with us to make Nadia and Shay’s day so special and memorable. The centerpieces, uplighting, and decor were all incredible thanks to FH Weddings. They created a soft and romantic space for our couple and their guests. They also had a rocking band that had everyone on the dance floor. At the end of the evening we were thankful for another sweet wedding day with a magical sunset. Nadia and Shay are truly a beyond lovely couple; we adore them so much and loved being able to spend such a remarkable day with them. Congrats to you both and your families.
