Tampa Wedding at the Grand Hyatt for John and Joan

Joan and John’s Tampa wedding at the Grand Hyatt  was welcomed by gorgeous sunny Tampa skies, tons of laughs, and so many smiles.

Their intimate wedding reception gave John and Joan the opportunity to visit and connect with each guest at the wedding; this was important for them to share such a special day with their close friends and family. It was also special for Katherine, John’s daughter, as she officially welcomed her fun and amazing step-mom Joan into the family.  Joan’s Chinese heritage also played an important role in their wedding celebration; the two had the Chinese symbol for “double happiness” on their wedding cake, as well as a projection on the wall of the reception room.

When sunset came, we were excited to venture to the dock of the Grand Hyatt to capture some lovely sunset portraits- this was an important aspect to Joan and John. And WOW, what a gorgeous sunset we got that night. The colors of the sky were amazing! We feel so honored to be able to capture such a special and memorable day for Joan and John, they are truly a delight to be around and we are so glad they are happily married and starting a family together-they deserve every happiness in the world!
