Melissa and John got married on Saturday at Tampa’s newest wedding venue, Tampa River Center, right on the Hillsborough River in downtown. It is truly a stunning location and it could not have been a more perfect day for this amazing couple. This dynamic duo know a thing or two about weddings as they own Elite Events Catering and have catered hundreds of wedding and special events (and I can say personally that their company, food and service is THE BEST!). But this time, it was different. This event was for THEM. This wedding was THEIRS- and it was so emotional and exciting! Friends and family came from the cold of Minnesota to help support them as their exchanged vows (I think some of them may not want to go home after enjoying our beautiful city!) It was such an honor to be asked to capture their beautiful wedding day. Congratulations my friends- wishing you all the love and happiness in the world (and love sharing an anniversary date with you!)

I have had the honor of knowing Melissa for a very long time, and her husband John not quite as long. I have watched their love grow over the years. They are two of the most wonderful hardworking individuals I know. Seeing them on Saturday getting ready for their wedding I know it’s true love. I am not only privileged to have the opportunity to work with them on a professional level, but I’m also able to call them friends.
