Tampa Wedding Photographer for R+T

When I photographed ReNelle and Trevor for the first time at their Tampa engagement session, it was easy to see their love for each other and how much fun they had together.  So it was no surprise that their wedding was such an incredible time, full of laughter, stories, and pure joy.  What started off as just neighbors, grew into an amazing love for each other and the joining of two families! When ReNelle and I were chatting about details for their wedding day, I asked if she had a bridal hanger and suggest a few websites where she could get one.  In ReNelle fashion, she tasked Trevor with getting some wire and making one himself.  Trevor, you did a pretty darn good job! With the joining of their two cultures (she is from Trinidad and he is African American American) the bride and groom wanted to incorporate some of their traditions into their wedding to make it unique.  “Jumping the Broom” is a symbol of sweeping away the old and welcoming the new, or a symbol of new beginnings. ReNelle being walked down the isle by her mom and uncle: I absolutely love all of the emotion and joy that was so evident throughout the entire wedding ceremony. (And it gets me a little choked up when a groom drops a few tears). The groomsmen watching the ceremony: The entire congregation sharing their love and support… Jumping the broom and the Trinidad flag! ReNelle, you are so stunning.  Seriously! Trevor, you are pretty sharp yourself!  🙂

I don’t know who was more excited to capture portraits with the bride and groom- me or Trevor and ReNelle!  Love that! You are both gorge! ReNelle- can you hearing me jumping for joy?  You look AMAZING! An extremely special part of this wedding was the bride and groom’s first dance.  You could tell that they felt like they were the only ones in the room. I can hear Trevor’s laugh! Some of the wedding details: One of the many unique elements about a Trinidadian wedding is that one of the family members MC’s the evening and there is an open mike for family members and friends to share speeches throughout the evening.  I loved Trevor’s reaction when ReNelle’s brother was talking about their relationship and how much he adores Trevor! I will wrap up this wedding post with a couple of my favorite images of the night.

Trevor and ReNelle, your day was completely perfect and we were honored to capture your love story for you.  Enjoy your honeymoon and soak up the rays!  CONGRATULATIONS!  XO  Andi
