A a mom, I always feel guilty about something…I should be making healthier foods for my kids, spending more time with my kids, reading with them more…the list goes on and on. Maybe it is the nature of parenthood. As a photographer mom the guilt is even worse- I NEVER take enough pictures of my kids, and when I do, I find myself having a short fuse and little patience. Terrible I know. So on Emory’s first day of preschool last week I vowed to make sure I brought her into my South Tampa studio and capture some REAL portraits of her, not just snapshots that I grab with my cell phone. I told myself, “Don’t expect too much…and don’t get upset if/WHEN she does not “perform” as I want her to.” She just looked so stinkin’ precious; her first day as a pre-schooler (at the same pre-school where her big brother “graduated”). These were a few of my precious baby girl, her first day, the most gorgeous little peanut I have ever seen…being wild, making silly faces, and just being 2. Gotta love that!
Ever since Alicia and Patrick had newborn portraits done last year with their adorable baby girl Elizabeth, we planned to meet up a year later at their new home in Odessa, FL for her first birthday. Let me just say, it could not have turned out better. These are some of the cutest kids I’ve ever met! Elizabeth looked like a princess in her red floral dress and her older brothers Connor and Alexander were so dapper in their suits and ties. They had a blast playing with each other in their huge backyard that day, I’m so glad Mother Nature held out for us after our rained out appointment the week before!
We had so much fun at Spring Portrait Days at The Shoppes at Pink Cabana. Here are some of my favorite portraits of a few of the kids we photographed: Just look at these precious kids! I loved capturing their different personalities! Even with all the various ages, every kiddo completely rocked out their portrait session. It made my heart smile! Thanks to all the kids and parents who participated in Spring Portrait Days. On a side note, the Shopes at Pink Cabana will be moving/expanding and under new ownership. Keep your eyes peeled to our blog to read up on all the latest news!
Andi Diamond Photography has had the honor of being able to capture many stages in Amber and David’s life together, starting with their engagement portrait session in South Tampa, their wedding photography in South Tampa, and now their newborn portraits of their baby girl, Kenady at our studio. Check out their session’s slideshow:
I have been able to photograph Amber’s brother, David’s, Tampa high school senior portraits, and do the commercial photography for Diane’s company, D’s Darling Designs. Thank you, Amber and David, (&Diane) for allowing me to capture and create your family’s treasured artwork. I completely adore your family! I love seeing all of the changes and stages as the family continues to grow and I appreciate your trust and business! xo
There is something so special to me about photographing newborns. This newborn photo session was especially incredible. Blair’s parents are both in the military and stationed in different parts of the country. I had the honor of photographing Blair during the first week that her daddy met her! It gave me goosebumps to know that I was able to capture those moments. Natalie took on the role of new mommy like a pro and Daniel had that instant bond with his daughter- it was such a joy to capture these three.
Thank you Natalie and Daniel for letting me be a part of such a very special time in your lives. CONGRATULATIONS on the birth of your baby girl!
