Tampa Wedding Photographers at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center for Amanda + AJ

November 29, 2012

When Amanda and AJ first started dating, their chemistry was undeniable….even though she is a Nole and he is a Gator!  Their common interests overruled their loves for rival state universities; much like their common love for country music.  In fact, they got engaged at a Brad Paisley concert (where Brad himself witnessed the proposal and asked them to come up on stage!)  Check out some of my faves from their Tampa wedding!  One of the first things I noticed when we arrived was Amanda’s FSU garter and the Gator cufflinks that she got for AJ.  Being that their wedding was on the UF/FSU game, this was pretty appropriate (and yes…I TIVO’ed the game and was supposed to be in social media lock-down so I could be surprised when I got home.  Needless to say, that did not happen- but I was more than thrilled with the outcome!  AJ was thrilled, too….but Amanda….not so much!) Amanda’s beautiful wedding dress, that she “blinged” up a bit! The bride and her bridesmaids as they prepped! The stunning bride-to-be! The many faces of AJ…as he does some last minute preps before the ceremony. One of the unique personal touches that Amanda had planned for the wedding was this picture of her bridesmaids that she texted over to AJ.  While I was capturing Amanda and the girls….. Patrick was capturing the guys’ reactions. The bride and her bridesmaids and groom and his groomsmen awaiting the ceremony….but we timed it perfectly so no one saw the other! Amanda’s bouquet, which had images of AJ’s mom and Dad to honor them, and her pretty bling! The wedding ceremony: The bride and groom with their crazy fun bridal party!  And the guys, in complete jealousy over Amanda’s guns!  (She is a Tampa Bay Buccaneer cheerleader, so the girl gets a workout!) The reception at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center: The bride and groom- an absolutely stunning couple!! The couple’s first dance was so sweet and heartfelt. The “house divided” Florida/Florida State groom’s cake made me smile.  All the guests made sure to show which team they were rooting for as they danced the night away! And one more image to share of this wonderful wedding night!

Thank you Amanda and AJ for letting us be a part of your beautiful wedding! We’re so glad we got to capture it for you, we had an amazing time photographing your special day. Make sure to share your love for the newlyweds by leaving a comment below.

Museum of Fine Arts Wedding Photographers for H + S

November 16, 2012

What a beautiful day for a wedding in St. Petersburg, Florida for Heather and Steve at the Museum of Fine Arts!  The bride and bridesmaids at the Vinoy! Meanwhile, the guys hung out at the Museum of Fine Arts…. As soon as we met the groomsmen, I knew we were in for a crazy, fun night! I love the look on both Heather and Steve’s faces as they see each other at the ceremony outside the Museum! The day could not have been more perfect for an outside wedding in St. Petersburg! The couple chose some beautiful decor and uplighting to really make the reception site pop! During cocktail hour, we got to spend some time with Heather and Steve- one of my favorite parts of the night! So many unique spots to photograph the bride and groom at the MFA!  Perfect place for an amazing wedding! Heather’s dad makes wine in Canada, so a perfect gift for the guests of the wedding??  Custom wine bottles (with labels from their Tampa engagement session)!  And a fun way to show off Heather’s sparkly diamond bling, too! I had no idea how wild and crazy Heather and Steve (and their friends) were until the band got started- then we saw the truth!  It was a BLAST! OK, so we really saw their crazy, silly sides at Heather’s home-made photo booth/photo prop wall.  Let’s just say….I won’t post all of those pics….hehe….and who is Lulu? CONGRATS Steve and Heather on a beautiful wedding and even more beautiful marriage!  Thank you for letting us capture your love!  xo  Make sure to share your love for the couple by leaving a comment below.

Wedding Album for Renelle + Trevor

November 12, 2012

I LOVE wedding albums.  It is a newlywed couple’s first family heirloom and an amazing way to relive and retell the story from their wedding day.  Every wedding album is custom designed to highlight special moments and memories from the couple’s wedding day, and it is then printed on archival photographic paper and a variety of custom leathers, canvases, or fine silks.  I wanted to start off this week by sharing Renelle and Trevor’s Tampa wedding album design.  For their album style, the chose a traditional 10×10 black leather wedding album.

If you are planning a wedding, I highly encourage you to include a wedding album into your wedding photography collection.  I love sitting on the couch with my little boy as we flip though my wedding album together, and he asks me all sorts of fun questions about our wedding.  Pete and I cherish the memories, especially when we see pictures of family members who are no longer with us.  If you would like to see some of our wedding album, feel free to stop by our South Tampa studio- we are happy to show them off!  Happy Veteran’s Day!
