I am so excited! I was published in a national photography magazine! If you have been reading my blog for a while, you already know about the Diamond Girls Gala that I had in February. I photographed several women- all breast cancer survivors, and then had a gallery showing to benefit Susan G Komen. We raised over $2,000 that night- it was an amazing event, and extremely empowering to all of the Diamond Girls. I was honored to do it- and am excited to say that I will be doing it again this year! Anywho….Studio Photography published an article on my event and one of my images! YIPPEE! Check it out. October is breast cancer awareness month and is very close to my heart. My mom and sister in law are both survivors, along with several other women I know. If you or someone you know would like to participate in the Diamond Girls, please give me a shout! Also, if you are interested in volunteering for the event (which will probably be in February or March of 2009), I would be happy to have your help! 🙂
