This is what winter looks like in Florida, and I love it! Isn’t wonderful that family portrait sessions can happen all year round in the sunshine state. You can always count on Florida to give you a nice background and lovely weather (most days). You can practically have a session anywhere! The Parsons and I enjoyed a lovely evening by a quiet pond for their family portrait session. I was able to capture so many great moments. These moments included warm hugs, tickles, kisses, and shoulder rides! Nature was on our side that evening and everything came together beautifully. Once we arrived at location, I knew immediately that I had to capture the gorgeous dusk lighting behind the tree line. I love how the evergreen terrain pops in the background for this shoot. It gave a vibrant touch for these family portraits. If you are looking for that Florida feel without having to go to the beach, this session is a great example of what that looks like. My goal was to make sure the Parsons had a great time together at their family session. From the looks of their photos, I think that I achieved that goal.
