Lakeland Wedding Photography for V & L

Victoria and Luke met in college at Florida State University their freshman year.  Luke is currently in law school in Macon, GA and Victoria lives in South Tampa- but soon they will be living their married life together! So many elements of this wedding made it unique and special to who they are as a couple and as individuals.  Victoria grew up in Lakeland so they decided to have their wedding in her hometown.  Victoria wrapped her grandmother’s necklace around her wedding bouquet.  They incorporated Luke’s grandfather’s 100 year old bible into their wedding, and it was gorgeous!  Victoria did a First Look with her dad at the historic Terrace Hotel in Lakeland, and also a first look with her groom at Lake Mirror.  The couple also incorporated their sweet puppy, Chief, into their wedding day celebrations!  During their wedding ceremony at First United Methodist Church they had family and friends surround them to say a group prayer.  The walked into the wedding reception to the FSU war chant (yes, that hurt my heart as a die-hard Gator!  🙂 ), and even had an FSU groom’s cake (I didn’t eat it.  Nope.  I have to draw the line somewhere!)  They love sweets so they had a donut dessert table.  There was not an empty seat once the dance floor got going!  Enjoy your European honeymoon, Victoria and Luke- I can’t wait to hear all about it!  xo
