It was a beautiful day for Andi Diamond Photography at Nicole and Eric’s wedding day at Baker’s Ranch in Parrish, Florida. Nicole and Eric are both huge FSU fans and had their college memorabilia as accent decor in their reception; of course this was hard for me being a Gator to my core, but we adore them so it was easy to overlook. They both attended FSU but ended up meeting through mutual friends in Tampa; they love going to all of the games together and cheering on their alma mater (even their pets have Nole names!).
Nicole and Eric opted to have a first look and we will admit, Eric’s reaction was priceless! We know emotions tend to run high on the big day and Nicole and Eric were both a little nervous prior to seeing each other. All it took was Nicole’s voice to make Eric shed a tear, even before they saw each other. It was a special moment for them and they were able to spend some alone time together (well, with us) before their wedding ceremony. We were blessed with the most amazing weather this past weekend as well. Their outdoor ceremony was the perfect setting for their close friends and family. The two exchanged their own vows, which of course had everyone laughing and crying.
Their wedding reception featured shades of plum, blush, and ivory with amber uplighting to create an intimate and beautiful ambiance. Their inspiration of rustic elegance was definitely achieved with their lovely table centerpieces and decor. Guests were able to dance the night away and take silly pictures with the photo booth. A definite hit of the night were The Cake Zone’s “little tipsy cakes.” They are jarred cakes infused with alcohol and they are definitely some of our favorite treats!
Baker’s Ranch has some beautiful string lighting outside so we were able to head outside when it was dark and capture some amazing nighttime portraits of the newly wed bride and groom. Nicole and Eric truly have the sweetest personalities and their love for each other is strong; it is easy to see when we are around them. We are so happy of them and this new chapter in their lives. We wish them nothing but love and happiness for the rest of their years together!
