Palm Coast Wedding at Hammock Beach

Rick and Michelle met on base at the MacDill Air Force Base; she was working out at the gym and he came up to her to tell her she had nice shoes, “I bet they are fast”.  Seriously, she thought?  Yes, seriously! And guess wheat?  IT WORKED!  After their first date, she immediately knew that there was something special there.  Rick and I went to college together at UF (GO GATORS) and lost touch after graduation (pre-Facebook- GASP!).  I could not believe it when he and Michelle moved in to the house directly across the street from us.  Michelle and I immediately hit it off and have become amazing friends.   Watching this relationship grow has been very special to me.  They have so much fun together- traveling, being active, sporting events, even home improvement tasks.  They are so loved by my family (and my kids) and all of their friends and family around them.  You will not meet two more genuine people who love life and celebrate it to the fullest!

Michelle got her beautiful, form fitting wedding gown at The White Magnolia Bridal Collection in Tampa- it fit her like a glove!

Every bride loves some bling, right?!  Jimmy Choo wedding shoes anyone?

Michelle had her bridal jewelry custom made from The White Magnolia to fit her exact vision.

Michelle looked beyond beautiful!

Rick was a pilot in the Navy and is still a pilot, so he wore his dress blues.

Rick wore Michelle’s dad’s cufflinks, he was also in the military.  I know this meant a lot to Michelle.  He had his shirt custom made in Hawaii.  Soooo Rick!

Although the gale force winds were kicking, everyone had a smile on their face and were so happy to see Michelle and Rick get married!

The flower girls- both nieces of the bride and groom!

“If I’m not cold…you’re not cold”….words of wisdom…

A wedding reception sushi bar??  YES PLEASE!

One of Michelle’s great friends, Tracey, who has designed wedding cakes for years, created this yummy masterpiece!

The bride and groom took dance lessons to choreograph their first dance!  It was AWESOME!

The night wrapped with a few last dances, the couple standing in the cold outside (for me…THANKS GUYS!), and the entire wedding party at the Hammock Beach Resort bar dancing until the wee-hours!  It was FANTASTIC!

A huge congratulation to my very special friends.  We are so happy for you, love and support you!  xox

A special thanks to all of the wonderful wedding vendors I had the pleasure of working with on Michelle and Rick’s wedding day; you all made it so lovely.
