Michael and Danielle met through mutual friends in Tampa, Florida while she was home for the summer from the University of Florida. They had instant chemistry (even though he is an FSU grad and she is a Gator) and their first conversation consisted of her making fun of him for wearing cowboy boots everywhere (which she secretly liked) even though he was clearly a city boy. Their conversation then drifted towards their similar backgrounds growing up in the church, along with stories about their friends, families, and even their mutual love for dogs. Danielle soon came to the realization that this handsome man had everything that she had been looking for in a guy: A strong love for God, his family, and his friends. Danielle is so endearing and kind and it is evident in the way her friends surrounded her on wedding day. She truly has a light when she walks into a room and it is no wonder that Michael was attracted to her energy. Michael was just about to give up on finding love when Dani walked into his life; a twist of fate. These two have an intense connection; both sharing a strong passion for faith and prayer.
We were so lucky to be able to capture their beautiful wedding day at Prairie Glenn Barn in Plant City. Mother nature blessed us with amazing weather this past weekend which made for some lovely wedding portraits. We first started the day with Dani and her beyond gorgeous group of bridesmaids getting ready. None of these gals could take a bad picture! They have been friends for a very long time (childhood, college, and ADPi sorority sisters) and share a special bond together; you could tell in their reaction of seeing Dani in her wedding dress, to their prayer they said over her before the ceremony that they will be lifetime friends. There were lots of happy, tears being shed that day. Michael had gifted Dani a sentimental, devotional for them to share daily prayers for each other and their marriage. This was a beautiful moment for us to capture, as well as Michael reading a letter from Dani before the ceremony. Each gift had our bride and groom emotional and it was a personal moment to share in.
Their outdoor ceremony was filled with their family and friends who came from all over to witness their nuptials, under a canopy of oak trees. They chose to share in communion, a perfect start in their journey as husband and wife. Their reception in the Prairie Glenn barn was exquisitely decorated in ivory and green florals and garland, intimate string lighting, and candlelight. Guests were in awe of the detail and decor, as were we. It was breathtaking! The party really got started after dinner; guests danced with Michael and Dani all night, singing and swaying underneath the colored lights on the dance floor. Everyone’s sweet tooth was fulfilled with their delicious cake and we ended the night with a sparkler send off- waving and well-wishing our bride and groom as they headed off for the evening. We had the best time spending the day with the new bride and groom, capturing such special moments that they will remember forever. Danielle and Michael are such sweet souls and we wish nothing but love and happiness for them as they start their new journey. Congrats to you both!
