Ashley and Derek met at a costume party several years ago; she was Where’s Waldo….so it only makes sense that Derek would find her, right?! They moved to Tampa from Ohio and enjoyed a gorgeous beach-front wedding (complete with their precious fur-baby, Winnie) in St. Pete on Saturday in the sunny Florida weather (as I am sure all of their Northern guests did, too!). As tradition in the Jewish religion, the couple partook in several Jewish wedding customs, including signing of the ketubah (a traditional Jewish marriage contract), getting married under a chuppah (a canopy beneath which Jewish marriage ceremony is performed); and at their wedding reception- dancing the hora in the newly decorated grand ballroom at the Don Cesar. Derek is in a band and really loves music, so he searched to find a perfect wedding band that would compliment their style- and got the Blues Factor Band from Tallahassee to make their reception amazing!
