St. Petersburg Wedding Photography at Mahaffey Theater

What a great day for a St. Petersburg wedding! Our beautiful couple, Ashley and Michael, have been together for 10 years, since their early years in college in Ohio…so this day was a long time coming! We started the afternoon off at St. Paul’s Catholic Church for an intimate ceremony, surrounded by the bride and groom’s closest friends and family. The church was so lovely and had a perfect little archway of trees to capture some portraits of the new Mr. and Mrs. Guests then headed to the Mahaffey Theater for the wedding reception, which was decorated in black and white and accented by gorgeous white flora table centerpieces. A live band entertained guests during dinner, which then turned into a full-on dance party with a DJ. Everyone danced the night away and nibbled on cake and a dessert table (which Michael’s mother spent HOURS making..of course we each left with a giant bag full of treats after our arms were twisted!). We are so happy for Ashley and Michael and we loved getting to spend the day with them and capture such special moments. This image needs to be prefaced with “LINDA, LINDA, LINDA” as Ashley’s mom ran into the girls’ getting ready room yelling out about her exploding powder.  Classic Linda! The bride and her bridesmaids were simply stunning. Oh Ashley….stop the prettiness!  Popular, high fashion, yeah…we get it! Check out all of the bridesmaids’ necklaces!  Love! The groom and his groomsmen! Oh Michael….so handsome. Michael’s mom was quite emotional the whole day, seeing her son marrying the girl of his dreams! We had gorgeous light for the family portraits..it was perfect! Vinoy Park provided a perfect backdrop for the bridal party portraits. More flowing tears from MIchael’s mom..it was so sweet. There was no shortage of dancing and partying! A quick run outside to grab some night-time portraits by the fountain.  So glad our couples trust our vision and are up for anything!
